[...] I’m always delighted when I run across another voiceover blog or podcast, because I want to provide links here to as many voiceover resources as possible. So, with thanks to my friend Joe for the link in the first post of this thread at the VO-BB.com, I’d like to point you to the Everything Acting Podcast, and specifically this episode featuring voiceover coach Joan Baker. We’d love that! Thanks for that. And we feature VO topics all the time…it’s one of my favorite parts of the business. Thanks, D.

This is an extraordinary interview full of great information and lots of fun. I have been trying for years to work regularly in the VO industry but it’s always been catch as catch can and mostly missing the ball. Joan’s words have opened my eyes about the industry. In fact, I would say she removed the cloak which has made the VO industry invisible to me. KUDOS TO EVERYTHING ACTING. I already bought and read Joan’s book Secrets of voice-over Success. It’s phenomenal and the secrets are REAL. Now I see clearly that voice-over is much more about understanding it as a “community” rather than an industry. I feel confident that I can make a huge difference in my VO career. Thanks again to Everything Acting for finding this incredibly talented and spirited woman who is undoubtedly the Queen of the Voice-Over industry. And who’s the first chapter in her book… none other the King; Don LaFontaine!
