<p>Great show!  I think I wanna read Ron Morasco’s book.<br />
Congratulations on the bookings too!</p>
<p>On the DVD issue for writers:  Currently they receive .3% per DVD, they&#8217;re asking for .6%. In dollars and cents that translates into them now receiving 4 cents per DVD and they are asking for 8 cents.</p>
<p>Both SAG &amp; AFTRA do support the WGA, but they both have “No-Strike” clauses in their contracts.  Therefore they cannot instruct it’s members to not perform work that they’ve booked.  An individual actor can refuse to audition and/or work, but SAG/AFTRA can’t demand it.  The SAG, AFTRA and the DGA contracts expire Junes 30th 2008.</p>
